1 lb (450 g) large fresh shrimp, shelled and deveined
1/2 tsp (2 mL) paprika
1/2 tsp (2 mL) Cajun seasoning 1/4 tsp (1 mL) chili powder
1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) cayenne pepper Pinch onion powder
I Tbsp (15 mL) olive oil
1 large clove garlic, peeled and crushed
1 Tbsp (15 mL) grated fresh ginger
Juice of I fresh lime
In a bowl, combine seasonings. Add shrimp and stir to coat.
In a skillet, over medium-high heat, heat oil and cook shrimp 2 minutes. Add garlic and ginger. Season with salt and pepper; and add lime juice. Cook 1 to 2 minutes more, or until shrimp turn pink.
